From the Palazzo dei Congressi (EFMC-ISMC 2024 venue)

For attendees coming from the EFMC-ISMC 2024 event at Palazzo dei Congressi, please note that the venues are located approximately 10km apart. We highly recommend considering accommodations in the city center of Rome for EFMC-YMCS to optimize travel convenience.

You can use the Rome Metro Line B from the "EUR Fermi" station to the "Castro Pretorio" station. The travel takes approximately 50 minutes.

From the Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport

You can navigate from Fiumicino "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport to the venue with several transportation options.

Rome's public transport provider is atac. The airport is situated 32km from Rome's city center. To help you plan your journey, here are some transportation options:

Leonardo Express Train: The fastest and most direct route to the city center. Trains depart every 15 minutes, with a travel time of approximately 30 minutes to Termini Station, Rome's central hub. From Termini, you can access the city's metro lines or opt for other modes of transport.
Terravision and SIT Shuttle Buses: These buses provide economical and frequent transfers from Fiumicino to key locations in Rome, including Termini Station and other strategic points. They usually take around 45–60 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing Services: Available outside the airport terminals, taxis and ride-sharing services offer personalized door-to-door convenience. Although they are typically pricier than public transport (approximately 50 EUR from the airport to Rome's city center).
Public Bus Services: atac operates several bus routes connecting the airport to different parts of Rome. While cost-effective, this option might involve multiple transfers and longer travel times depending on your destination within the city.
